Videos or animations. Indicative length is 60 sec but it can be longer if needed.
Here at Eurostar we'd like to say a massive thank you to all contributors in this competition. There was a really wide range of stories being told in an impressive range of styles and we were hard pressed to narrow it down to a few.
.. the top 5 each have demonstrated strong personality, insight and regardless of production value, have managed to tell strong narratives to which we have become addicted. We hope to be able to get involved with community again soon.
I really love England and specially London. I like people, atmosphere and, it may be surprising for my French friends, the food ! I've got the chance to have one of my oldest friends who live in London. That's why I regularly take Eurostar to visit him and his family. In May 2013, I was in London and I saw exactly what I create on my animation! By the way, I always like the state of mind of Eurostar's add : humour and open minded about differences. In general, I like to participate at contests where I've affinity with the brand or the communication. ...and it's a pleasure when I can see other's work on feedback-circle. You can't imagine how much I was surprised to learn that I won! I couldn't realize it and I needed to read 569726 times the winning email. To be really honest, I do not realize yet... But I feel really happy that the jury choose my own creation ! Thanks again to them ! About the prize, first of all, I will plan a trip... To London ! Then, I would like to do a special training to improve animation's technique in 3d. ...and I shall also buy a new iMac because mine is really old
We really loved the insight that sits behind this creative that people aren't always what they seem. A simple execution, but really impactfully done and certainly the type of creative we want to be associated with. Well done
I learned about eYeka at a party where I met a guy who told me about it. He explained me the concept and I totally loved it as an amateur video maker. Eurostar brief was perfect for me. I love Paris and I wanted too share it. I was really happy because we worked hard on those two videos. I work with a dream team, everyone has is skills. We are not professional video makers, we are just a group of friends passionate about video and music. We have been making videos for ten years now and we still improve our work.
We were blown away by the production values and loved the character twist. The location is also under documented by us so we love that you've helped bring that out.
I learned about eYeka through a friend, who participated in one of the contests. I really liked the brief of this contest and I was very happy and surprised to learn that I won a prize! Yay!
We loved the way you brought illustration/animation to already impressive visuals. Plus you have everyone in the office whistle the tune.
