After working for 13 years as an assistant director, in 2011 Fernanda Fernandes is invited to do the full-lenght film “Breaking The Taboo”, as an associate director. In the same year, she co-directs the short “O Jornal do Futuro”, to one of the most respected newspapers of Brazil, Folha de S.Paulo. In 2012, she directs the videoclip “A Visita” for the brazilian singer SILVA, with more than 900.000 views on youtube. In the same year, she is invited to Venice Film Festival with the short “Cine Rincão”, that she co-directed. In 2013, she directs the short “Survival Guides SP” for Italian Benetton. In 2014, she directs the short “Depois Daquele Trem”, and she is selected to an artistic residence in the Museum of Image and Sound of São Paulo (MIS). In 2015, she directs the musical web series "2por1", with new episodes every 2 weeks.
She also has been developing content for cinema, TV and Internet.
